Screen Free Moments: Promoting Healthy Habits

People everywhere are talking about the obesity problem in the United States, its impact on young children and the life-long effects obesity can have on health.  Researchers tell us that eating nutritious food, engaging in frequent, age- appropriate physical activity, and monitoring screen time are important for maintaining a health weight (1).

Screen Free Moments: Promoting Healthy Habits will show you a few simple ways to limit or even eventually eliminate screen time in your family child care home.
