Puerto Rico has three documents regulating health and safety in child care.

Child Care and Development Homes
(Reglamento para el Licenciamiento y Supervisión de Hogare de Crianza para el Cuidado de Niños y Niñas)
June 2002
Children's Group Homes and Institutions (including day camps and extended stay facilities)
(Reglamento para el Licenciamiento y Supervisión de Hogares de Groupo e Instituciones)
