Kansas Regulations
The regulations listed below are current as of February 14, 2008

Kansas has four different documents regulating health and safety in child care.
Effective Date
Regulations for Licensing Preschools and Child Care Centers 2/26/1990
Regulations for Licensing Day Care Homes and Group Day Care Homes 2/26/90
Child Care Licensing and Registration Laws 7/2001
Regulations for Licensing School Age Programs 1/10/2003

Please note: Some cities and/or counties in Kansas have additional regulations. Please check with your city and county government for more information.
