Illinois Regulations
The regulations listed below are current as of February 1, 2010

Illinois has three different documents regulating health and safety in child care.
Effective Date
Part 406: Licensing Standards for Day Care Homes 7/1/2008
Part 407: Licensing Standards for Day Care Centers 3/15/2005
Part 408: Licensing Standards for Group Day Care Homes 7/1/2008

Please note: Some cities and/or counties in Illinois have additional regulations. Please check with your city and county government for more information.
