The regulations listed below are current as of July 16, 2008

Iowa has two different documents regulating health and safety in child care.
Effective Date
Chapter 110: Child Development Homes 7/1/2004
Chapter 109: Rules for Child Care Centers 1/11/2006

Please note: Some cities and/or counties in Iowa have additional regulations. Please check with your city and county government for more information.
