Caring for our Children: Acknowledgements ACKNOWLEDGMENTS The National Resource Center for Health and Safety in Child Care would like to acknowledge the outstanding contributions of all persons and organizations involved in the revision of Caring for Our Children: National Health and Safety Performance Standards: Guidelines for Out-of-Home Child Care Programs. Second Edition. The collaboration of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Public Health Association, and the Maternal and Child Health Bureau provided a wide scope of technical expertise from their constituents in the creation of this project.
